Juel Park

Juel Park

Course Overview

Established in 2004, Juel Park is an 18-hole disc golf course located on a 38 acre park. The course features a mostly open layout with scattered trees and mature firs, set in what was once a family farm donated to the city. With 9 unique basket placements, players get multiple angles to make up the 18 holes. The course measures approximately 3,051 feet from the long tees and 2,728 feet from the short tees, offering a mix of distances including six holes under 300 feet, nine holes between 300-400 feet, and three holes over 400 feet.

What to Expect

Due to its open nature, Juel Park is an excellent beginner-friendly and practice course where losing a disc more difficult (unless you don’t watch it land). The flat terrain and wide-open spaces make it ideal for working on form, distance, and shot placement without the pressure of dense woods.

Note that the course is known for drainage issues—expect muddy conditions and standing water during winter and spring months, particularly on holes 1, 4, 6, and 9. Summer brings high grass and dry conditions. While the course lacks the technical challenge of heavily wooded layouts, a few holes incorporate tree lines and strategic placement, particularly holes 2, 3, and 5.
